Calendula

This girl was worth the wait. From seed, it took about three months to flower. The nasturtiums, also from seed, are taking over the veggie bed, next to heirloom green zebra stripe tomatoes (yes, from seed). Peak early spring.

We done good.

The kids designed the booth, sold a bunch of herbs, arugula, lettuce, flowers.  Ate a ton of kettle corn.  Talked up our garden and the school.  Success. Make your own bouquet was a big hit.

Fridge Flowers
